Taken in the waters off Kaikoura on the east coast of New Zealand. The wild dusky dolphin is very gregarious, highly social and reputed to be amongst the most acrobatic of the dolphin species, with their spectacular leaps, jumps, side slaps and back flips. These playful creatures live in pods of hundreds close to the Kairkoura coast.
