Commonly known as Jade, Pounamu or Greenstone, New Zealand Nephrite was the stone originally used by Maori to make weapons, tools and jewellery. Thankfully this ancient art has been handed down to the craftspeople of today. This stone has been individually carved and the unique design created by Nathan. The rare Marsden Flower Jade has stunning flecks, is paler than other pounamu and comes from New Zealand's West Coast. Traditional threaded design so stone is totally secure.

Watching my new son grow If you could live in another era what would it be? 50 or 60 years ago when pounamu (greenstone) was plentiful Best health tip? You may die tomorrow
