Commonly known as Jade, Pounamu or Greenstone, New Zealand Nephrite was originally used by Maori to make weapons, tools and jewellery. Thankfully this ancient art has been handed down to the craftspeople of today. This pale piece of pounamu, named after New Zealand's native trout (Kokopu), has been individually carved and the unique design created by Nathan. Traditional threaded design so stone is totally secure.

Brown hand-braided thread (adjustable, also available in black, red or natural hand-braided thread if preferred)

Watching my new son grow If you could live in another era what would it be? 50 or 60 years ago when pounamu (greenstone) was plentiful Best health tip? You may die tomorrow
